At LAND Remediation, Inc., we take great pride in supporting the people behind the work both in the field and beyond it. In September, our team gathered to celebrate a meaningful moment as our co-owner, William (Will) Lindheimer, received the Patriot Award, a recognition that reflects LRI’s commitment to those who serve in the U.S. Armed Forces.
Presented by the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), the Patriot Award honors employers who go above and beyond to support service members in the National Guard and Reserve. Unlike most awards, it is not presented by an organization or committee but is nominated directly by a service member or their family. Each nomination highlights personal acts of understanding, flexibility, and support that allow Guardsmen and Reservists to fulfill both their military and professional duties.
This award holds special significance for LRI because it was nominated by one of our own project managers, Zachary Morris, who proudly serves in the NY Army National Guard. Zach’s nomination recognized Will’s steadfast encouragement and the supportive culture that LRI fosters for employees balancing military service with their careers. The award was presented by Hy Taylor, Military Outreach Director of New York.
Will expressed his appreciation, saying:
